October Chapter Book Challenge

Each month the Causeway, Covington, Sidell and South Slidell Branches are challenging kids to try something new.  Explore a new genre with Chapter Book Challenge!   

Are you up for the challenge? The October Challenge is:

Read a spooky and suspenseful book!

  • Read a spooky or suspenseful chapter book that has at least 50 pages.
  • If you need a suggestion, here is a handy booklist, opens a new window.
  • You must read the book during the month of September.
  • Fill out a Chapter Book Challenge Form, opens a new window & turn it in at one of the participating branch libraries.
  • Each month, one participant at each branch will win a free book!
  • Next month there will be a new challenge!!
